Beyond the Rut

I had the pleasure of joining my fellow NMSU Alumni in an exhibition we titled “Beyond the Rut: Perspectives of Debilitation". Our show explored the challenges that come with being an artist post grad.

It's difficult to stay inspired and involved in the art scene, scouting for new opportunities, but shows like this are what provide me with excitement going forward.

Very thankful to Cruces Creatives for providing us with a space to share our work. And a big thank you to my talented friends for inspiring me with their creativity and dedication to art. Their aspirations excite me so much and remind me how important our field is to the world. It really means a lot to have continued support from this wonderful community.

Our work was up for the entirety of December 2023. I debuted two new pieces made specifically for this show, “A Walk through the Mist” & “Look of Languish”, along with three other pieces that matched thematically.
